July 14-16, 2023 Springfield Community Chapel invited the community to celebrate 50 years of faithfulness to our congregation. We celebrated Friday evening with a kick-off concert and dessert fellowship. Saturday brought an Open House with “Dunk the Pastor”, popcorn, bounce house, cotton candy, and a Hall of History display. We shared a meal together in the tent while being entertained by the ‘Pitlock Pickers. This was followed by a celebration service that featured worship, special music, pastor Q&A time and a message from Pastor Ken. Sunday morning we had a time of reminiscing and refreshments followed by the morning worship service, where the congregation was directed to think about what God might have in store for the next 50 years of Springfield Community Chapel.
